So this is probably one of my favourite sections of my 3 month course.. this is Your Tribe.

I love thinking about your Tribe because in the work that I do, most of the time, peoples tribe, friends, family, work friends/colleagues, are really important in their whole environment and self worth.. how they show up and how they value themselves.

So if you’ve been following my work, you’ll know that I talk a lot about this; the people and influencers in your life. Now most of us have many people in our life that may be influential but most often there are 5 people in your life that are the main influencers and the easiest way to think about what an influencer is like this: We all bounce off each other, reflecting each other’s personalities and energy. So you are a combination of the reflections of the 5 most important people in your life. So what I advise to the ladies I work with is ‘choose your influencers wisely’.

Are your influencers a positive force in your life or are they negative and toxic.

Your influencers can be anybody that you spend a lot of time with, whether that’s friends, work colleagues or family, but its really important to know who these influencers are. Who do you spend the most amount of time with? Who are you talking to and wo are you listening to? Who informs your opinions and self-worth? Who are your TRIBE?

When you are on a journey of self-discovery or personal development, you will need your tribe to prop you up… on the days  you are doubting yourself, your tribe can pick you up. When you are sharing your goals, will your tribe champion you or hold you back? Will they tell you that you are amazing and can do anything you set your mind to or do they tell you that you’re just dreaming or that you have enough on your plate and shouldn’t be doing at the more at the moment?

Are their intentions for your benefit and self-esteem or theirs?

Once you know who has your back and who doesn’t, you can be aware of who is making you happy and who is bringing you down.
