I’ve got many tools in my box that I’ve learnt along the way and a many of them are to do with parenting…
When I first started my social work career at the tender age of 22, I was working with young children with behaviour and communication difficulties, facilitating a group for them and their parents.
I then went on to run specific parenting groups as part of a 12 week parenting program.
My biggest parenting lessons of course came once I became a mother myself and naturally, adapted my own style of parenting that fits around me and my family
So it might surprise you that I feel very challenged to giving parenting advice. This is not because I don’t believe in my strategies, but because I know that parenting is a very unique thing and something that we need to all do in our own way
I’ve got lots of strategies that I can give you, but ultimately I would much rather help you find your own way.
I shine best when I help you to be the best version of yourself.
I’d much rather help you identify the kind of woman and mother you want to be, realise the difficulties that are holding you back and encourage you to step in to your true self
Yes of course I have a few of tips to use to make it easier for you, but actually the real question is: Who do you want to be? What kind of mummy do you want to be?… Feel comfortable with that.
Own that woman and then become her. Be Her!!. Be the kind of woman, mother, partner and friend you’ll look back on and be proud of xx
